This summer, my friends and I took a road trip through the Peach State of Georgia. Our journey took us from Atlanta to Savannah, and then on to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We had a blast experiencing all that Georgia has to offer – from its charming small towns to its beautiful coastal scenery. If you’re thinking of taking a trip through Georgia yourself, here are some highlights you won’t want to miss!

First on our list was the city of Atlanta. We started our trip by exploring all that the capital had to offer, from its museums and historic sites to its vibrant nightlife. We also made sure to visit some of Atlanta’s most popular attractions, like the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. After a few days in the city, we hit the road for Savannah.

Savannah is one of Georgia’s most beautiful cities, with its tree-lined streets and stately Southern mansions. We spent a few days exploring Savannah’s historic district, visiting its many squares and parks. We also took a boat tour of the city’s waterfront area, which was simply gorgeous. From Savannah, we headed north to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are home to some of Georgia’s most stunning scenery. We spent a few days hiking and camping in the mountains, and we were absolutely awestruck by the views. If you’re looking for a breathtaking outdoor adventure, the Blue Ridge Mountains are definitely worth a visit.

Overall, we had an incredible time exploring everything that Georgia has to offer. From its bustling cities to its scenic mountains, there’s something for everyone in this great state. If you’re planning a trip through Georgia, be sure to add these highlights to your itinerary!
